Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and actress-singer fiancée Hailee Steinfeld are soaking up family time this spring, even as their schedules ramp up with major professional and personal milestones.
The couple, who are reportedly set to tie the knot this offseason, made a rare joint appearance at a birthday celebration for Allen’s nephew in Northern California over the weekend — their first public photo together since the NFL Honors in early February.
According to Allen’s teammate Dion Dawkins, the big day is quickly approaching. During an appearance on Good Morning Football earlier this month, the veteran offensive tackle seemed to spill the wedding date, saying, “Josh Allen is one of those guys, and he sealed that deal. And soon to come — May 31. It’s happening.”

In the midst of wedding planning, Allen also inked a jaw-dropping six-year, $330 million contract extension with the Bills, featuring a record-setting $250 million in guaranteed money.
The 28-year-old star is coming off an MVP-winning season, earning the league’s highest individual honor at the 2024 NFL Honors — where Steinfeld quietly debuted her sparkling engagement ring on the red carpet.
Despite their packed calendars, the couple is making time for the people closest to them. On March 23, one day after Steinfeld celebrated her mother Cheri’s birthday, she and Allen were in attendance for a special family occasion: the second birthday of Allen’s nephew, Kash. The birthday boy is the eldest son of Allen’s sister, Nicala Madden, who shares two boys with husband Brayden Madden.
Nicala shared a sweet series of photos and videos from the celebration on Instagram, including candid moments from the kid-friendly party. “What a way to bring on year 2 with our sweet Kashy Boi ?!” she captioned the post. “We all love this sweet boy so dang much! ? Thanks to everyone who celebrated with us today ?? Kash might not remember this day when he is older, but we will — and we have lots of photos to show how much fun was had! ?”
Among those photos was a rare glimpse of Allen and Steinfeld together at the event, casually dressed and smiling with family. The low-key moment marked a departure from Steinfeld’s usual high-profile appearances, such as the recent Vanity Fair Oscars Party, where she stunned in an elegant gown — solo.
In a recent interview with People magazine, Steinfeld opened up about their engagement, calling it “such a special time for so many reasons.” She added, “I couldn’t be more excited. I’m so happy — we’re so happy — and we’re just soaking in every moment.”

Steinfeld, 27, has a busy offseason of her own. In addition to promoting her upcoming film Sinners, she recently launched her own line of canned margaritas, adding “entrepreneur” to her already packed résumé of singer, actress, and producer.
